Hadith 7589

وَعَنْهُ أَيْضًا أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا وَقَعَتْ رَمْيَتُكَ فِي الْمَاءِ فَغَرَقَ فَلَا تَأْكُلْ
It is also narrated from Sayyiduna ‘Adi (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: If you shoot an arrow at game, but after being struck by the arrow it falls into water and dies, then do not eat it.
