Hadith 7587

عَنْ أَبِي ثَعْلَبَةَ الْخُشَنِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا رَمَيْتَ بِسَهْمِكَ فَغَابَ ثَلَاثَ لَيَالٍ فَأَدْرَكْتَهُ فَكُلْ مَا لَمْ يُنْتِنْ
Sayyiduna Abu Tha’labah Khushani (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When you throw your arrow at game and it remains hidden from you for three days, and then you find it, it may be eaten, provided it has not become putrid.
