Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the use of vessels made from gourds and vessels coated with tar. Abu Abdur Rahman says: I heard from my father, he said that in Kufa, there is no hadith more authentic than this hadith of Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him).
