Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Beware, mixing (different types of dates) is forbidden. And mixing is when dried dates and ripe fresh dates are combined to make nabidh.
