Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that a man who was intoxicated was brought to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He said: I made nabidh (a fermented drink) by mixing dried grapes and dates and drank it. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prescribed the hadd (punishment) for him and forbade making nabidh by mixing the two together.
