Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade making nabidh by mixing unripe dates with ripe dates, and by mixing dried dates with dates, and he wrote to the people of Yemen that they should not make nabidh by mixing dried dates with dates.
