It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with them both) that a man came to the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: I draw water and pour it into my pond, and I fill it for my family, but other people's camels come and I give them water to drink. Will I get a reward for this? The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There is a reward for giving water to every creature with a liver, that is, every living being.
