Sayyiduna Salamah bin Akwa’ (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw a man from the Ashja’ tribe named Basar bin Ra’i al-‘Ir eating with his left hand. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: “Eat with your right hand.” He replied: “I am not able to eat with my right hand.” The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “May you not be able to.” After that, his right hand was never able to reach his mouth.
