عَنْ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا آكُلُ مُتَّكِئًا
Sayyiduna Abu Juhaifah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I do not eat while reclining.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … The wording of one hadith is: ((Lā ta’kul muttaki’an.)) So do not eat while reclining.
