عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَضْلُ عَائِشَةَ عَلَى النِّسَاءِ كَفَضْلِ الثَّرِيدِ عَلَى سَائِرِ الطَّعَامِ
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The superiority of Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) over other women is like the superiority of tharid over all other foods.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Tharid was the most excellent and superior dish among the Arabs; it is composed of bread, meat, and broth. This food is extremely blessed, easily digestible, and delicious. It can be eaten with ease, does not require much expense, and a small quantity of it suffices to satiate the one who eats it.
