Hadith 7361

وَعَنْهُ أَيْضًا قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَجْمَعُ بَيْنَ الرُّطَبِ وَالْخِرْبِزِ
It is also narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: I saw the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) eating fresh dates and watermelon together.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Sayyidah Aishah radi Allahu anha says: "The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam used to eat watermelon with fresh dates, and he would say: 'We break the heat of this (date) with the coolness of this (watermelon), and the coolness of this (watermelon) with the heat of this (date).'" (Abu Dawood: 3835, Tirmidhi: 1/338, Sahihah: 57)
