Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that a lizard was brought to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He neither ate it nor forbade it. I said: O Messenger of Allah! Should we not feed it to the poor? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do not feed them what you do not eat yourselves.
