It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that a man asked the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about the meat of the lizard while the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was sitting on the pulpit. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I neither eat it nor do I forbid eating it. Also, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever eats from this tree, meaning garlic, should by no means come to the mosque.
