Lady Asma bint Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that a woman came to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! I have a co-wife, is there anything wrong if I pretend to have received from my husband more than what he has actually given me? The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The one who pretends to have been given what he was not given is like one who wears two garments of falsehood.
