Narrated by Sayyiduna Muawiyah bin Haydah (may Allah be pleased with him): A man asked the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "What right does a wife have over her husband?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "When you eat, feed her as well; when you clothe yourself, clothe her as well. Do not strike her on the face, do not speak to her in a repulsive manner, and (in case of displeasure) do not leave her except within the house."
