Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave the following command regarding the slave women captured in the Battle of Autas: Do not have intercourse with a pregnant woman until she gives birth, and do not have intercourse with a woman who is not pregnant until she has completed one menstrual cycle.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: ... Awtas is a place near Zaif, where a battle took place. Female captives were obtained there as spoils of war. Regarding them, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam gave this command to the people so that the wombs’ freedom from pregnancy would become clear, and then relations could be established with them.
