Hadith 7231

Narrated by Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever denies his child in this world to disgrace him, Allah will disgrace him publicly on the Day of Judgment, and on the Day of Judgment, recompense will be given in kind.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … All the narrations are clear in their meaning. If a Muslim’s lineage is considered inferior, then he should be content with it and exercise patience. And if he possesses a noble lineage, he should not take pride or boast over it. One should neither change one’s lineage for the sake of honor or dishonor, nor should one deny anyone’s lineage.
