بَابُ التَّعْلِيطِ فِيمَنِ ادَّعَى غَيْرَ أَبِيهِ وَهُوَ يَعْلَمُ وفيمن انتفى مِنْ وَلَدِهِ وَهُوَ يَعْلَمُChapter: Cursing One Who Claims Other Than His Father While Knowing, and One Who Denies His Child While Knowing
Hadith 7228

عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ كُفْرٌ تَبَرُّؤٌ مِنْ نَسَبٍ وَإِنْ دَقَّ أَوِ ادِّعَاءٌ إِلَى نَسَبٍ لَا يُعْرَفُ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: Even if a lineage is insignificant, to disassociate oneself from it or to attribute oneself to an unknown lineage is disbelief.
