It is narrated from a Companion, who says: I have remembered this for you, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, performed ablution in the mosque.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … When the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was in the state of i‘tikaf, he would lower his blessed head towards Sayyidah Aisha radi Allahu anha, and she would wash and comb his hair, while the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam remained in the mosque. This hadith is coming ahead. It is possible that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam performed ablution (wudu) in this same manner. In any case, the water that falls from the limbs of the one performing ablution is pure.
