Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Upon hearing about these four witnesses, Sayyiduna Sa'd radi Allahu anhu said: "O Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, if I were to see a strange man with my wife, I would not be able to tolerate it; bringing witnesses is a matter that comes later. Before that, I would strike with the sword and sever that man's neck." Upon hearing this, the Noble Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said: "O people! Listen, what is your leader saying? He is very possessive (ghayrah), and I am even more possessive than him, and Allah Ta'ala is more possessive than me." (Sahih Muslim)
