Hadith 7194

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ سَعْدَ بْنَ عُبَادَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنْ وَجَدْتُ مَعَ امْرَأَتِي رَجُلًا أُمْهِلُهُ حَتَّى آتِيَ بِأَرْبَعَةِ شُهَدَاءَ قَالَ نَعَمْ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that Sayyiduna Sa’d bin Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: O Messenger of Allah! If I see a strange man with my wife, should I give him respite until I can present four witnesses? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Yes.
