It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, he says: I had a woman in my marriage, I loved her very much, but my father, Sayyiduna Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, disliked her. So he ordered me to divorce her, but I refused. He went to the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, and said: O Messenger of Allah! Abdullah bin Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, has a wife whom I dislike. I told him to divorce her, but he refused. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: O Abdullah! Divorce your wife. So I divorced her.
