Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Shaykh al-Albani rahimahullah has also mentioned the following corroborating narration (shahid) for this hadith: Qays bin Zayd says: The Noble Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam divorced Sayyidah Hafsah bint Umar radi Allahu anha. Her two maternal uncles, Qudamah and Uthman, who were the sons of Maz'un, went to her. She began to weep and said: By Allah! The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam did not divorce me because he was satiated (with me). The Noble Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam came to her and said: ((Jibril alayhis salam said to me: Take Hafsah back, for she is one who fasts much and stands (in prayer) much, and she is your wife in Paradise.)) … Abu Nu‘aym has narrated this in al-Hilyah: 2/50 and Imam Hakim has also narrated it, and it is mursal.
