Narrated by Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: It is not permitted for any human being to prostrate to another human being. If it were appropriate for a human to prostrate to another human, I would have commanded a woman to prostrate to her husband, because of the great right he has over her. By the One in Whose hand is my soul! If the husband were to have a sore from his feet to the parting of his hair, and pus and blood were to flow from it, and his wife were to come and lick it, even then she would not have fulfilled his right.
