عَنْ جُدَامَةَ بِنْتِ وَهْبٍ الْأَسَدِيَّةِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا وَكَانَتْ مِنَ الْمُهَاجِرَاتِ الْأُوَلِ قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَسُئِلَ عَنِ الْعَزْلِ فَقَالَ هُوَ الْوَأْدُ الْخَفِيُّ
Narrated by Sayyidah Judamah bint Wahb Asadiyyah, may Allah be pleased with her, who was among the first emigrant women, that when the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was asked about coitus interruptus, he, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "It is the secret burying alive."
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … The seminal fluid which Allah Ta'ala has prepared for the creation of a child—attempting to prevent the fulfillment of this purpose and wasting the seminal fluid is, in a sense, like secretly burying a child alive. This hadith does not indicate the prohibition of coitus interruptus (azl) in comparison to the ahadith that permit it, because openly burying children alive is forbidden, but from this it does not necessarily follow that doing so in the aforementioned secret manner is also prohibited, especially since in the next chapter there are evidences for its permissibility.
