It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever performed ablution by washing each limb once, then this is the minimum amount of ablution, without which there is no alternative. Whoever washed the limbs twice, for him there will be a double reward, and whoever washed them three times, then such ablution is mine and of the Prophets before me.
