A female companion (may Allah be pleased with her), who had prayed towards both Qiblahs with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), narrates: She says, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to me or I went to him, and he said to me: "Color your hands; you leave coloring your hands until they begin to look like a man's hands." After this command, that woman never stopped coloring her hands, until she met Allah the Exalted; even at the age of eighty (80) years, she used to color her hands.
