عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَنْهَى عَنِ النُّهْبَةِ وَالْخُلْسَةِ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Zaid bin Khalid Al-Juhani (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade looting and snatching of wealth.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … "An-nuhbah" (plunder, robbery): When a person, in front of people and by force, snatches something of value from someone. "Al-khulsah" (snatching): Taking advantage of someone's heedlessness, quickly and cunningly taking something.
