It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that a woman became Muslim during the time of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and then got married again, but her first husband came to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! I have also embraced Islam, and my wife knew that I had accepted Islam, yet she married again. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) took the woman back from her second husband and returned her to her first husband.
