It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade shighar. The narrator says: Shighar is when a man says to another man: “Marry your daughter to me and I will marry my daughter to you,” or “Marry your sister to me and I will marry my sister to you.” And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) also forbade deceptive trade and pebble sale.
