بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي تَزْوِيجِ الْآبِ بِنتَهُ الشَّيْبَ أَوِ الْبِكْرَ الْبَالِغَ بِغَيْرِ رَضَاهَاChapter: What Has Been Reported Regarding a Father Marrying Off His Adult Virgin or Previously Married Daughter Without Her Consent
Hadith 6901

وَعَنْهُ أَيْضًا أَنَّ جَارِيَةً بِكْرًا أَتَتِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَتْ أَنَّ أَبَاهَا زَوَّجَهَا وَهِيَ كَارِهَةٌ فَخَيَّرَهَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
It is also narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that a virgin girl came to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said that her father had married her to a man whom she disliked. So the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave her the choice to stay (in the marriage) or not.
