It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ubaidah bin Amr Kalabi (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: I saw the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performing ablution, and he (peace be upon him) would perform ablution completely. On this basis, when Rubaiyyah would perform ablution, she would wash each limb thoroughly, to the extent that she would lift her scarf and wipe her head.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … In these hadiths, the heels that remain dry during ablution (wudu) are intended; if any other part of a limb remains dry, the same ruling will apply, such as the elbows and the soles of the feet, etc. The implication of these hadiths is that ablution should be performed with care and diligence, but no limb should be washed more than three times, and one should completely avoid satanic whisperings (waswasah) in this regard.
