Hadith 6869

عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ قَيْسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: طَلَّقَنِي زَوْجِي ثَلَاثًا فَأَمَرَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ أَعْتَدَّ فِي بَيْتِ ابْنِ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ.
Narrated by Sayyidah Fatimah bint Qais (may Allah be pleased with her), she says: My husband gave me three divorces, and the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered me to spend my waiting period in the house of Sayyiduna Ibn Umm Maktum (may Allah be pleased with him).
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … This Fatimah radi Allahu anha was in the marriage of Abu Amr ibn Hafs. He had already given two divorces before. Then he gave the third and final divorce as well.
