(وَعَنْهُ مِنْ طَرِيقٍ ثَالِثٍ) عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ بِنَحْوِهِ وَفِيهِ فَقَطَعَ أَيْدِيَهُمْ وَأَرْجُلَهُمْ مِنْ خِلَافٍ وَسَمَرَ أَعْيُنَهُمْ وَأَلْقَاهُمْ بِالْحَرَّةِ قَالَ أَنَسٌ قَدْ كُنْتُ أَرَى أَحَدَهُمْ يَكْدِمُ الْأَرْضَ بِفِيهِ حَتَّى مَاتُوا قَالَ قَتَادَةُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ إِنَّمَا كَانَ هَذَا قَبْلَ أَنْ تَنْزِلَ الْحُدُودُ
(Third chain of narration) There is a similar narration, except that in it: You had their hands and feet cut off from the opposite sides, and had iron rods passed through their eyes, and threw them on the stony ground of Harrah. Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I saw one of them biting the ground with his mouth, then all of them died in that state. Muhammad bin Sirin said: This happened before the (relevant) punishments were revealed.
