(وَعَنْهُ مِنْ طَرِيقٍ ثَانٍ) عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ نَفَرًا مِنْ عُكْلٍ ثَمَانِيَةً قَدِمُوا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَبَايَعُوهُ عَلَى الْإِسْلَامِ فَاسْتَوْخَمُوا الْأَرْضَ فَسَقِمَتْ أَجْسَامُهُمْ فَشَكَوْا ذَلِكَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ وَفِي آخِرِهِ ثُمَّ نُبِذُوا فِي الشَّمْسِ حَتَّى مَاتُوا
(Second chain) Eight individuals from the tribe of ‘Ukal came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and pledged allegiance to Islam at his hands. The climate of Madinah did not suit them and their bodies fell ill. When they complained of this to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, … then it was narrated as in the previous hadith …, however, at the end of this narration it is stated: Then they were thrown into the sun until they died.
