Hadith 6772

عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ شَرِبَ الْخَمْرَ فِي الدُّنْيَا لَمْ يَشْرَبْهَا فِي الْآخِرَةِ إِلَّا أَنْ يَتُوبَ
Narrated by Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever drinks wine in this world will not drink it in the Hereafter, unless he repents.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … The wine of Paradise is entirely different from the wine of this world, but due to this forbidden wine, one is being deprived of the wine of Paradise.
