عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا قَطْعَ فِيمَا دُونَ عَشَرَةِ دَرَاهِمَ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin Aas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The hand is not to be cut off for less than ten dirhams.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Imam Abu Hanifah rahimahullah, in light of this very hadith, has set the limit for cutting the hand at ten dirhams, but this narration is weak.
