عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجَمَ امْرَأَةً فَأَمَرَنِي أَنْ أَحْفِرَ لَهَا فَحَفَرْتُ لَهَا إِلَى سُرَّتِهَا
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stoned a woman and ordered me to dig a pit for her, so I dug a pit as deep as my navel.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … In the narration of Sahih Muslim (1695), it is mentioned that the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) had a pit dug for the woman up to her chest.
