عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ كَانَ رَجُلٌ يَدْخُلُ عَلَى أَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُخَنِّثٌ وَكَانُوا يَعُدُّونَهُ مِنْ غَيْرِ أُولِي الْإِرْبَةِ فَدَخَلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمًا وَهُوَ عِنْدَ بَعْضِ نِسَائِهِ وَهُوَ يَنْعَتُ امْرَأَةً فَقَالَ إِنَّهَا إِذَا أَقْبَلَتْ أَقْبَلَتْ بِأَرْبَعٍ وَإِذَا أَدْبَرَتْ أَدْبَرَتْ بِثَمَانٍ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا أَرَى هَذَا يَعْلَمُ مَا هَاهُنَا لَا يَدْخُلُ عَلَيْكُنَّ هَذَا فَحَجَبُوهُ
Narrated from Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that a eunuch used to come to the wives of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). People thought that he was free from carnal desires. One day, when the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) arrived, that eunuch was present with one of his wives. He began to describe the beauty of a woman, saying that when she comes, she comes with four folds, and when she goes, she goes with eight folds. Upon hearing this, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I did not know that he knows so much. He should not be allowed to come to you in the future. So the people forbade him.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Generally, it has been observed that seriousness and modesty (sharam wa haya) are lacking, or rather, not found at all among eunuchs (hijras). These individuals engage in lustful conversations with both men and women. From the aforementioned ahadith, it is evident that they are also able to describe the conditions of both men and women, and by doing so, the purpose of veiling (purdah) becomes meaningless. Furthermore, the people they interact with also become unserious and begin to engage in mischievous talk, and lustful desires start to arise. Such eunuchs should be prohibited from coming to both men and women.
