عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ كُلُّ عَيْنٍ زَانِيَةٌ
Narrated by Sayyiduna Abu Musa Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Every eye commits adultery.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … From all these ahadith it is established that it is forbidden (haram) for a man to look at a non-mahram woman. The eye itself is the prelude to adultery (zina); whoever safeguards his gaze will, by the will of Allah Ta’ala (insha Allah Ta’ala), remain protected from all matters related to immorality.
