عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ حَفِظَ مَا بَيْنَ فَقْمَيْهِ وَفَرْجِهِ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Musa Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever safeguards that which is between his jaws and his private parts, he will enter Paradise.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … That is, whoever safeguarded his tongue from backbiting, tale-bearing, false speech, and vain talk, and protected his private parts from adultery (zina) and unlawful desires, he will enter Paradise.
