Hadith 6520

Narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever keeps a dog that is neither for hunting nor for guarding livestock, then every day two qirats are deducted from his reward. When it was said to him that Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) also mentions the dog for farming, he replied: From where did Abu Hurairah get farming?
