Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performed ablution, then rinsed his mouth three times, put water into his nose three times, wiped his hand over the corner of his eyes, and used to wipe his head once, and he used to say: "The ears are part of the head."
