Hadith 65

The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "What is the matter with me that I am seizing you from the rooms to save you from the Fire? Beware! Surely my Lord is the One Who will call me, and He will ask me: 'Did you convey My message to My servants?' And I will answer saying: 'O my Lord! I conveyed it to them.' Beware! Those who are present should convey this message to those who are absent."

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … The meaning is that people’s attitude is such that, by committing evil deeds, they are trying to throw themselves into the Fire, but you, sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, are striving to stop them through various wisdoms in such a way that it is as if you, sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, are physically holding them back. O people! Engrain this in your minds that we bear witness that Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah, sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, has conveyed the complete religion to us. However, regarding the responsibility of conveying the religion that you, sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, entrusted to us, all the Muslims of this era—except for a few individuals—are heedless in fulfilling it. Parents, in general, have no awareness of what responsibilities are incumbent upon them concerning their children. We, in our own estimation, have considered those associated with mosques and madrasahs as fully responsible for this mission, while in reality, we neither give importance to their existence nor to their words.
