Hadith 6490

Narrated by Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever kills a snake will receive seven good deeds, and whoever kills a lizard will receive one good deed, and whoever leaves a snake out of fear of its revenge is not from among us.
