(وَعَنْهُ مِنْ طَرِيقٍ ثَانٍ) قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: ((إِنَّ رِيحَ الْجَنَّةِ يُوجَدُ مِنْ مَسِيرَةِ مِائَةِ عَامٍ، وَمَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ يَقْتُلُ نَفْسًا مُعَاهَدَةً إِلَّا حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى عَلَيْهِ الْجَنَّةَ وَرَائِحَتَهَا أَنْ يَجِدَهَا)) قَالَ أَبُو بُكَرَةَ: أَصَمَّ اللَّهُ أُذُنِي إِنْ لَمْ أَكُنْ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُهَا
(Second Chain) It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Surely, the fragrance of Paradise is found at a distance of one hundred years, and whoever kills a person with whom there is a treaty, Allah Almighty will make Paradise and the fragrance of Paradise forbidden for him. Sayyiduna Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: If I did not hear this hadith from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), may Allah make my ears deaf.
