Narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever raises weapons against us is not from among us.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … The gravity of killing demands that no weapon should be raised against a Muslim, whether in jest or due to any other impure intention. One reason for this is mentioned in the following hadith:

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah radi Allahu anhu that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said: “None of you should point a weapon at his brother, for none of you knows; perhaps Satan may snatch it from his hand, and he may fall into a pit of the Fire.” (Sahih Bukhari: 7072, Sahih Muslim: 2617)
