بَابٌ فِي الْمَضْمَضَةِ وَالِاسْتِنْشَاقِ وَالِاسْتِثْنَارِChapter on Rinsing the Mouth, Sniffing Water, and Blowing It Out
Hadith 644

وَعَنْهُ أَيْضًا قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَجْعَلْ فِي أَنْفِهِ مَاءً ثُمَّ لِيَسْتَنْثِرْ، وَقَالَ مَرَّةً: لِيَنْثِرْ)) **
It is also narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "When any one of you performs ablution, he should draw water into his nose and then expel it." (Musnad Ahmad: 7298)
