Hadith 6402

Narrated by Sayyiduna Ma'qil bin Yasar Muzani (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered me to judge between people. I said: O Messenger of Allah! I cannot judge well. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Allah Almighty is with the judge as long as he does not commit injustice.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abi Awfa radi Allahu anhu narrates that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said: “Indeed, Allah is with the judge as long as he does not commit injustice; but when he commits injustice, Allah withdraws from him and Satan attaches himself to him.” (Tirmidhi: 1330, Ibn Majah: 2312)

The demand of the authentic ahadith related to this subject is that rulers and those in authority should adopt the way of justice and fairness, while the requirements of justice are so numerous that fulfilling them is very difficult. The Muslim ruling class should study the caliphate of the Rightly Guided Caliphs (Khulafa-e-Rashideen) and should firmly keep in mind this point: that this field has no connection with the display of chieftainship or the acquisition of worldly wealth and riches.
