Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Certainly, for the Muslim Ummah, the presence of a judge (qadi) and ruler is necessary, and those people are truly fortunate and blessed who, after being appointed to the position of judiciary (qada), continue to uphold the scales of justice and fairness. However, such people are very few; the majority of rulers and judges have not fulfilled the requirements of justice and fairness, and because of them, great oppression and tyranny have been inflicted upon the general public.
Looking at the aspect of justice and fairness, this field is praised in the pure Shari‘ah, and looking at the aspect of oppression and transgression, it is condemned.
