بَاب مَا جَاءَ فِي مِيرَاتِ الْجَنَّةِ وَالْجَدَّاتِChapter: What has been reported regarding the inheritance of grandmothers and great-grandmothers
Hadith 6360

(وَعَنْهُ مِنْ طَرِيقٍ ثَانٍ) بِنَحْوِهِ وَفِيهِ فَقَامَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ فَقَالَ شَهِدْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْضِي لَهَا بِالسُّدُسِ فَأَعْطَاهَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ السُّدُسَ
(Second chain) In this it is: Sayyiduna Muhammad bin Maslamah (may Allah be pleased with him) stood up and said: I was present with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and he (peace be upon him) decreed one-sixth for the grandmother, so Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) enforced one-sixth for her.
